As we started 2016, we welcomed "Survivor" to our home base. It's tough to start out at a new school in the middle of the year, but as you can see, she has had absolutely NO problem fitting in. In fact, she seems to be in charge...

Saying Goodbye to 2015 and a Home Base Friend

As we headed off to various locations in December, we also said goodbye to our friend, "Brightside." While we miss her energy and sense of humor already, we are thankful to have had so much fun together in the 1st semester. Our home base wishes her all the best at her new school! You Are Invited to Our Egypt Museum!

Dear Families of 6th Grade Egyptologists,

The students have been working very hard to learn about ancient Egypt by researching not only a historic ancient artifact but also its connection to the characteristics of civilization. Thank you for your support at home with this work. This Thursday we will culminate the project with our annual Egypt Museum, and you are invited to join us! You should have received an invitation via email, but in case you are unable to locate it, the schedule is HERE. I've bolded the times that you would be able to view the artifacts and/or hear your child and the other C-siders present.
